Karl Hoecke is the inspiration behind Harmony Christian Community. He is a young man with a job and dreams for the future. And he happens to have Down syndrome.
Karl, his family and others like them long for options. They believe every individual deserves the chance to have a sense of independence and community, while doing what they love!
Harmony would be an intergenerational neighborhood, with a farm, micro-businesses, and a step-down retirement facility as individuals and their parents age.
Despite the COVID pandemic, we have raised nearly $100,000 of the needed funds to purchase land for Harmony.
